Geo. South. Coll., Dep. Geol. Geogr., Statesboro, GA, United States
Two new brachyuran decapod crustacean taxa are described from specimens collected in the Upper Cretaceous Bearpaw Shale of north-central Montana. The ammonite Didymoceras nebrascense dates the fauna as late Campanian. Zygastrocarcinus griesi is the second species-level taxon of the genus Zygastrocarcinus (n. gen.) to be described from the Western Interior. Notopocorystes (Eucorystes) eichhorni is the first species of this genus to be described from the Western Interior and extends the geographic range of the genus into the Western Interior.--Journal abstract.
