Oligocene lake deposits in central Colorado and a new fossil insect locality

A new fossil insect locality was found in the Oligocene Antero Formation, exposed in Park County, Colo.; plant and animal remains also were found. The plant and vertebrate fossils indicate that the Antero Formation and the Florissant lake beds are contemporaneous.
