Permian corals from northern Nevada

R. D. Hoare

Rugose and tabulate corals are described from the basal portion of an unnamed Permian limestone member exposed to Rowland and Mt. Velma quadrangles near the Sunflower Reservoir in Elko County, Nev. Wolfcampian age of the limestone was verified by the fusulinids with which many of the corals are closely associated. Rugose corals include Bradyphyllum gracilium n. sp., Caninia elkoensis n. sp., C. goldcreekensis n. sp., C. cf. C. trojana Easton, and C. sp. Tabulate corals include Acaciapora duncanae n. sp., Cladochonus nevadensis n. sp., and Cornwallia tabularia n. gen., n. sp.
