Foraminiferal assemblages of Alacran Reef, Campeche Bank, Mexico

Richard A. Davis

Foraminifera are listed by species for seve bottom-sediment samples from Alacran Reef. The sediments are composed of 16.2 to 22 percent foraminiferal tests. Only dead assemblages are listed. Percentage distribution by families is shown graphically on a hypothetical cross section of the reef complex, and ecological implications are discussed briefly.
