A coral from an upper Tertiary conglomerate in the Punso region (Mindoro), Philippines, is described and tentatively assigned to Gshelia, although exhibiting many resemblances also to Caninia. It is late Paleozoic in age and may have derived from the Mindoro Metamorphics which outcrop to the northeast.
