On Glottidia inexpectans Olsson

S. H. Chuang

Glottidia inexpectans, a lingulid brachiopod, is the largest known fossil Glottidia species. This note supplements A. Ollson's (1914) original description, which was based on fragments and young shells. The almost perfect large specimen described here is from the Yorktown Formation (Miocene) from Hampton, Va.----
