Two cheirurid trilobites were listed by Branson from the Kimmswick Limestone as Pseudosphaerexochus subcircularis Bradley and P. trentonensis Clarke. Neither of these species belongs in this genus. P. subcircularis is assigned to the genus Acanthoparypha Whittington & Evitt. Acanthoparypha projecta Esker, n. sp., is described.
