Evaluation of four "new" leaiid conchostracan genera

Paul Tasch

Monoleaia karagandica is reassigned to the estheriellid genus Monoleiopholus, for which a new subfamily, Karagandiinae, is erected. Among other conchostracans recently described in the Russian literature, Troisleaia is placed in synonymy with Paraleaia, and the validity of Teixeirium and Fernandoalmeidium is considered dubious.
