The reported occurrence of Reithrodontomys in the Pleistocene of Florida

A small rodent mandible from the Pleistocene of Vero Beach, Florida, formerly referred to Reithrodontomys humulis should be assigned to Peromyscus polionotus on the basis of molar morphology.
