X-ray absorption techniques applied to statistical studies of foraminifera populations

Kenneth Hooper

Describes projection and contact microradiographic techniques for measuring internal structures of foraminifers, noting advantages over conventional sectioning methods. Data from microradiographs have been applied in statistical studies of Operculina populations from Tertiary rocks of South Australia.
