Ordovician conodonts from northern Manitoba

A small collection of conodonts is described from the Shammattawa limestone at a single locality. These are the first such fossils known from the American Arctic or Subarctic and come from about 59 degrees N lat., in association with an abundant megafauna. Collectively they are similar to other Upper Ordovician conodonts. Of the 18 identified species, only 3 are defined as new. One new genus, Plegagnathus (type: P. nelsoni, n. sp.) is proposed.
