Corals from a lower Pliocene patch reef in central Java

A fossil patch reef on a small hill near Prupuk, central Java, contains a fauna, excellently preserved, of about 70 species and is the largest suite of corals so far described from a Tertiary locality in the East Indies. Nine new species and varieties of this lower Pliocene fauna are described.
