Bancroftina, a new brachiopod name

George Winston Sinclair

The name Raymondella applied to a new genus of orthoid brachiopod has been used by Reed for a subgenus of the trilobite Dionide. The new name Bancroftina is proposed to replace Raymondella Bancroft 1945 (not Reed 1935).
